Embracer Group has announced that Biomutant has sold one million copies since launch. Additionally, the group has announced that Valheim has sold more than 7.9 million copies since launch.
Going into slightly more details, Biomutant has recouped its full cost of development, marketing, and studio acquisition within a week. On the other hand, Valheim sold 1.1 million units between April and June.
Biomutant had major issues at launch. Thankfully, though, Experiment 101 has significantly improved things and implemented numerous QoL improvements.
Biomutant is an open-word, post-apocalyptic Kung-Fu fable RPG. The game features a martial arts-styled combat system which allows you to mix melee, shooting and mutant ability action.
On the other hand, Valheim is a brutal exploration and survival game for 1-10 players, featuring a huge procedurally generated world. In this game, players can battle, build, and conquer their way to a saga worthy of Odin’s patronage. Additionally, it has a flexible house and base building system and dedicated servers.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”
