Gearbox has announced that Borderlands 3 will not be present at E3 2018. This was revealed by one of Gearbox’s representatives who announced the news in a room of journalists earlier today.
So yeah, Borderlands fans, don’t expect to see the new Borderlands game during the biggest gaming event. Gearbox claimed that it will have other games to showcase.
According to Randy Pitchford, CEO and president at Gearbox, Borderlands 3 will be powered by Unreal Engine 4. Moreover, back in September, Randy Pitchford claimed that Borderlands 3 has 90% of Gearbox’s developers attention.
Last but not least, earlier this month, Walmart Canada leaked that Borderlands 3 is coming, though it did not reveal any release window or any additional details.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
