Bungie has released a new CGI trailer for its upcoming MMO title, Destiny. This trailer looks cool – all CGI trailers do – and despite the fact that a PC version has not been announced yet, Bungie is exploring the idea of porting its title to our platform. On a side note, the first gameplay footage of it will be revealed at Sony’s conference during this year’s E3, though we bet that most of you are not holding your breath about it.
As Bungie’s senior writer and head of community, Eric Osborne, told IGN, Bungie will reveal more about a possible PC version in the near future.
“We haven’t said yes, and we haven’t said no. The more platforms we take on, the more work it ultimately becomes, and what we don’t want is to compromise the core experience on any platforms. We have a lot of people who play on PCs. We have a lot of appetite to build that experience. We haven’t announced it yet, but we’re looking forward to talking more about that kind of stuff in the future.”
Naturally, Destiny will be coming on both PS4 and Xbox One, and we all know why Bungie is developing its game for those platforms, despite the fact that they are not out yet.
Our guess is that Bungie will – hopefully – port Destiny to the PC months (or perhaps a whole year) after the console release.
Enjoy the cinematic trailer!
