Treyarch and Beenox have revealed some new information about the PC version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. According to the developers, the game’s battle royale mode will be capped at 120fps at launch, whereas the Zombies and Multiplayer modes will support uncapped framerates.
Now while this may disappoint some fans, Treyarch actually has plans for uncapped framerates for the Blackout. As the developers claimed, they will ensure the moment the game launches that it has high stability for every player and will raise to 144fps as soon as the servers are stable. Assuming all goes well, Treyarch will enable uncapped framerates within the first few days of the game’s release.
So yeah, things are looking good for the PC version of Call of Duty Black Ops 4. Treyarch has also made a number of updates to the game, all based on players’ feedback, so let’s hope that those awful low-resolution textures have been replaced.
Call of Duty Black Ops 4 releases on October 12th!
