Treyarch has announced that the PC open beta multiplayer phase for Call of Duty Black Ops 4 will begin on August 11th. As the title suggests, this will be available to all PC gamers, will last until August 13th and will be exclusive to Battle.net.
Co-Studio Head, Mark Gordon, said:
“The PC beta will continue the dialog between us and our players. Every piece of feedback helps us to deliver the most balanced, most fun and most polished Call of Duty you have ever played on PC. Through our partnerships with Beenox for development and with Blizzard providing us with infrastructure, tools and network – we are bringing a custom experience to PC.”
This multiplayer beta will offer Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, and Search & Destroy, alongside the new objective-based game mode, Control. It will feature six maps, as well as new and returning Specialists.
Treyarch will also launch a beta for its new battle-royale mode in Black Ops 4, Blackout, in September!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
