Treyarch and Beenox have revealed the official PC system requirements for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. COD: BO6 will come out on PC on October 25th, and from the looks of it, it will not require a high-end PC system.
To run the game, PC gamers will need an AMD Ryzen 5 1400 or Intel Core i5-6600 with 8GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon RX 470, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 or an Intel Arc A580.
To play the game with 60fps on High settings (at most likely 1080p), you’ll need an AMD Ryzen 5 1600X or Intel Core i7-6700K with 12GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon RX 6600XT or AMD Radeon RX 6600XT.
Finally, for 4K/Ultra with high framerate, you’ll need an AMD Ryzen 7 2700X or an Intel Core i7 8700K with 16GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon RX 6800XT, an NVIDIA RTX 3080 or an NVIDIA RTX 4070.
As we can see, this new COD game will run smoothly on a wide range of PC systems. That’s both good and bad news. The good news is that a lot of PC players will be able to enjoy it. The bad news is that it won’t be a graphical powerhouse on PC.
Treyarch and Beenox have not listed any Ray Tracing effects. That’s a shame because Call of Duty: Modern Warfare had ray-traced shadows. Its sequel, though, did not use any RT effects.
Contrary to COD: MW3, Black Ops 6 will have a single-player campaign. So, I’m curious to see whether its visuals will be better than what we’ll get in the MP modes. I mean, of course and the SP will look better than the MP, right? RIGHT?
Stay tuned for more!
