Activision has issued a press release for Call of Duty: Ghosts, announcing the next part in the Call of Duty franchise. That press release didn’t feature important information to be honest, and as it was hinted, the game will be unveiled during Microsoft’s May event. Despite that, it appears that Raven Software and Neversoft will be assisting Infinity Ward in creating this latest Call of Duty title.
According to the official YouTube channel of Call of Duty, Infinity Ward, Raven Software and Neversoft are currently working on this title. This information comes from the fan hub that was created by Activision itself, therefore it’s as valid as it can get.
In case you’re wondering then no, those names are not present in other Call of Duty titles that were not developed by them (with regards to YT’s fan hub).
What’s also interesting here is that Sledgehammer is nowhere to be found. Earlier rumors suggested that Sledgehammer would also help Infinity Ward with this new CoD game, however its absence means that it will not help them at all.
Call of Duty: Ghosts is currently planned for a cross-platform release on November 5th!
