We don’t know whether we should be happy with this news or not. Nvidia and Activision announced a new technical partnership. According to the green team, NVIDIA developers are on-site at Infinity Ward, working hand in hand with Activision’s developers to ramp up the quality and fidelity of the game’s Sub D tessellation, displacement mapping and HDR lighting.
Nvidia will help Infinity Ward implement TXAA and PhysX support in Call of Duty: Ghosts. And at this point we begin wondering whether this PhysX support will be as a performance killer as the one we witnessed in The Bureau XCOM Declassified.
In similar news, Activision and Infinity Ward announced that Call of Duty: Ghosts PC will support dedicated servers.
Call of Duty: Ghosts is currently scheduled for a November 5th release on PC, PS3 and X360. The game will also hit PS4 and Xbox One!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
