NVIDIA has announced some new games that will be taking advantage of DLSS 3. According to the green team, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Delta Force: Hawk Ops and Project Mugen will support DLSS 3 at launch.
NVIDIA and Activision have not announced any PC-only tech features for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. And, if the game does not support any Ray Tracing effects on PC, I really don’t see how the game would benefit from it. All the previous Call of Duty games ran extremely well on PC, even at native resolutions. Not only that but those playing the game online will definitely not enable DLSS 3 (as it increases latency). Thus, let’s hope that we’ll at least get some RT treatment on PC (preferably RTGI and RTAO).
Delta Force: Hawk Ops is the next part in the Delta Force series. From what I saw in its debut gameplay trailer, this feels more like a COD clone than a Delta Force game. Similar to Modern Warfare 3, I hope this new Delta Force game has some RT effects. Otherwise, most RTX owners won’t be using DLSS 3, especially in its multiplayer mode.
Lastly, Project Mugen is a free-to-play urban-themed open world RPG, where players will act as the investigator with the code name “Infinite Trigger” and explore the world. This game raised some eyebrows when it was revealed earlier this month as its traversal mechanics are exactly the same as those from Insomniac’s Spiderman games.
