Infinity Ward and Beenox have released a brand new update for the PC version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The October 28th update is 8GB in size and you can find below all of the changes and fixes that it brings to the table.
Infinity Wards has done work on the backend to help with stability and prevent crashes across all platforms. Moreover, there is a fix for a Special Ops Achievement that was not unlocking after completing all missions. Also, 3rd person footsteps are now silent while the Dead Silence Field Upgrade is active.
In case you’re wondering, no; this patch does not fix the stuttering during the briefing cut-scenes. Furthermore, it does not address the pop-in issues we’ve reported in our PC Performance Analysis.
The Blizzard app will download this update the next time you launch its client. Below you can also find its complete changelog.
