We know, we know. You are a bit upset with the fact that the PC version of SSF4: AE 2012 hasn’t been released yet. Before pointing your hand at Capcom, know this: the company is currently developing the PC version of this highly anticipated re-balance patch. The PC version was delayed because – according to Capcom’s Svensson – the port process of the PC doesn’t begin until the X360 code is complete. In other words, its developmentĀ is not parallelĀ and as such, there’s a little lag time in the process.
Although Sven could not share with us any ETA, Yoshinori Ono tweeted that Capcom is currently working on the PC version of SSF4: AE 2012:
“I want you to wait just a little more…. sry. We’re dev. now”
Our guess is that the patch will be released in early 2012 as it will need a few weeks to pass the GFWL authorization procedure.
Stay tuned for more!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
