Capcom has informed us about some phishing emails that some users are currently receiving regarding Resident Evil Village. According to the company, there are currently “fake” emails circulating that pretend to contain “Early Access invitations” to Resident Evil Village.
Capcom noted that the sender address is being displayed as “no-reply(at)capcom(dot)com”, and those emails are not from the company.
“We want to inform you that these messages are NOT from Capcom and appear to be phishing attempts by an unauthorized third party. If you have received such a message, please DO NOT download any files or reply, and delete the message immediately.”
So yeah, if you’ve received such an email, don’t reply to that email and do not download any files.
Resident Evil Village releases on May 7th.
Stay tuned for more!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
