MicroProse has announced that it will release the demos for Carrier Command 2 and Regiments during the Steam Next Fest event. Steam Next Fest is an “indie game jam” that will begin on the 16th of June and end on the 22nd.
Carrier Command 2 is the real-time strategy game that puts you in command of a futuristic carrier capable of deploying a vast array of aircraft and amphibious units. In this game, players will compete against AI or human players and hop into every single vehicle to take matters into their own hands.
On the other hand, Regiments is a real-time tactics game. Players will lead their Regiment through the fires of conflict and the fog of war. Players can also break through the lines, call in artillery, maneuver, feign retreats, stage defenses, and counter-attack.
The demos for these two games will be accessible via their Steam store pages.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
