While we’re still waiting for the next version of 3D Mark to see what enthusiasts developers have been up to, the Catzilla team has kicked off the beta phase of its new benchmark tool. Entitled ‘Catzilla Benchmark’, this benchmark tool works on various Windows systems like XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 in both 32 and 64 bit versions and requires – at least – a GeForce 8×00 or AMD Radeon HD2x00 or Intel HD Graphics Family.
Those interested can give it a go by downloading the program from here. The team is still gathering emails for beta testers, meaning you might be able to participate in this event. We should also note that the tool supports both SLI and CrossFire systems.
Enjoy the Catzilla Benchmark below at ‘Tiger’ settings.
John is the founder and Editor in Chief at DSOGaming. He is a PC gaming fan and highly supports the modding and indie communities. Before creating DSOGaming, John worked on numerous gaming websites. While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”
