CD Projekt RED has detailed the key features that will be coming with Title Update 2.0 for Cyberpunk 2077. According to the team, this upcoming patch will revamp the police system, and it will bring major Combat AI overhauls.
For NVIDIA RTX owners, Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 2.0 will add support for DLSS 3.5. DLSS 3.5 introduces Ray Reconstruction which will significantly improve the image quality of the game.
Furthermore, players can expect over 100 new items – weapons, cyberware & fashion, dozens of new story quests and gigs, as well as endless dynamic events & missions.
It’s also worth noting that CD Projekt RED will introduce vehicle combat and mounted weaponry, redesigned cyberware and perks, it will increase the level cap, and will add all-new relic skill tree and abilities.
In short, Title Update 2.0 will be a major gameplay overhaul for Cyberpunk 2077. Thus, if you’re planning on replaying it, I’d strongly suggest waiting for this patch. From the looks of it, this will be the definitive version of CP2077.
CDPR has not revealed when this update will come out. In theory, we should expect it to come out alongside the Phantom Liberty DLC, on September 26th.
Lastly, I really hope that this major update will not break compatibility with the mods that are already available for CP2077. After all, we’ve already gotten an amazing Enhanced Photo Mode Unlocker. Not only that but this mod added a flying mechanism to all cars, and these mods unlocked/introduced other explorable areas. Let’s also not forget the amazing Metro System Mod. Last month, we also saw a mod that integrated the OpenAI API which enabled ChatGPT support. And finally, modder ‘Halk Hogan’ released a must-have Texture Pack for it, the Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked Project.
Stay tuned for more!
