During its recent annual investor conference, CD Projekt RED’s Adam Kici?ski and Piotr Nielubowicz revealed that E3 2019 will be the most important E3 event in the company’s history. Let’s not forget that CD Projekt RED has already confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 will be present at this gaming event so it’s probable that CD Projekt RED may reveal the game’s release date during that event.
If that wasn’t enough, during the investor call, CD Projekt RED agreed that E3 is the best place to announce the release dates of their games. Now since Cyberpunk 2077 targets current-gen platforms, I believe it’s safe to say that we’ll get a new gameplay trailer and a release date at E3 2019.
CD Projekt RED has also revealed that Cyberpunk 2077’s marketing has reached over 250 million people through their own channels and those of influencers invited to the closed-doors demo of the game.
Last but not least, CD Projekt RED revealed that The Witcher 3 is still selling well (together with Thronebreaker, it has generated over $28.6 million (net) in 2018) and that GOG has generated $7.8k net profit in 2018.
