CD Projekt RED has announced that it has delayed its Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire Event until June 25th. The team decided to delay this event due to what is currently happening in US after the death of George Floyd.
We decided to move Night City Wire to Jun 25th. We still look forward to sharing new information about CP’77, but more important discussions are happening right now and we want them to be heard. We wholeheartedly stand against racism, intolerance and violence. Black Lives Matter.

CD Projekt RED is not the only company that is delaying its event/show. Sony had also announced that it had postponed its Playstation 5 reveal event. Additionally, Electronic Arts has delayed both its Madden and Star Wars Project Maverick reveals.
IGN has also announced that it has delayed its Summer of Gaming main events until June 8th.
Black Lives Matter. Period. IGN will go silent today in support of Blackout Tuesday to encourage reflection and dedicate ourselves to meaningful change in our community. https://t.co/Fx1BbOSKKy pic.twitter.com/ROQERvrobV

We expect even more companies to delay their scheduled reveals and events/shows. My guess is that most of these events will be re-scheduled for next week.
Stay tuned for more!
