Steam’s registry revealed some interesting classic Mega-Drive hits that will be coming to the PC. According to the registry, Streets of Rage 3, Phantasy Star series, Vectorman 2, Golden Axe 3, The Revenge of the Shinobi and Wonder Boy in Monster World will be released in the coming weeks or months. Our guess is that these games are part of the new Mega-Drive Classic Pack that will be unveiled at a later date.
In case you were unaware of, SEGA has already released four classic packs on Steam and the games that were mentioned are not in any of them.
It seems that SEGA has been a big supported of PC digital. The company has also released the latest Sonic games on it and Sonic 4: Episode 2 is also slated for release on Steam this May.

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
