Remember Cliff Bleszinski and Boss Key Productions? You know, the team behind the unsuccessful LawBreakers? Well, apparently Bleszinski and his team were in talks with FOX for a brand new Aliens game.
As Bleszinski noted, this Aliens game would have been a first-person shooter in which the player would assume the role of a grown up Newt. The game would take place in Earth, and Ripley would be alive and act as a Cortana character. As for the story? Weyland-Yutani has been weaponizing the aliens in a Black Mesa style facility and, of course, all hell breaks loose.

Unfortunately, this project never came to fruition as Disney bought FOX. Bleszinski claims that this project got lost in the shuffle when that happened.
To be honest, this cancelled Aliens game sounds kind of cool. After all, players would be playing and encountering familiar faces from the Aliens universe.
Let’s at least hope that the Aliens MMO game that Cold Iron Studios is working on for current-gen platforms will be worth it!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
