SOEDESCO has announced that it will release the fast-paced Real Time Tactics game, Dog Duty, on Steam later this year. In addition, the game is now available for Early Access. According to the press release, Zanardi&Liza teamed up with SOEDESCO to polish and further improve the game based on what players want.
Zanardi&Liza is a Brazilian indie development studio that passionately started working on Dog Duty, which is their biggest project to date. They took their inspiration from games and series such as Commandos and G.I. Joe.
In Dog Duty, players control a squad of three characters while they wreak chaos, destroy installations and take down bosses. Players can ride freely throughout the world and fight on top of whichever moving vehicle they can find.
Players can destroy the octo-tank, located in the desert, the octoplane, last seen at the river area and the octo-jumper, situated at the swamp area. Destroying one outpost affects the other outposts, cutting off weapons, armor and other octo-supplies.
After defeating the game’s wicked bosses, players will have to defeat the treacherous Octopus Commander in his walled capital.
The game is now available on Steam via Early Access and you can find below its latest trailer!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
