Well, it was to be expected. Earlier today we informed you about Dead Island’s developer build that was released on Steam by mistake. Techland looked into this and has just announced that the final, proper version will come out later today. The company didn’t state anything else so we can only assume that players will have to download the entire game from the start.
Although I have to be honest with you, that no-clip thing was quite an experiencing. Imagine yourself playing this unfinished build and wondering how come there are such issues. And then by mistake hitting “Y” and witnessing your character passing through walls. Yeah, really impressive and hilarious stuff.
So PC gamers, enjoy this developer build while you still can because the real thing is coming out later today!
