Although GOG did not provide any specific release date, we can assume that this will happen after the game comes out on Steam. From what we know so far, Control will release later today on Valve’s digital platform.
Furthermore, Remedy has released a new trailer for Control’s August 2020 Update. Players can look forward to an unlockable Multi-Launch ability upgrade to Launch, allowing Jesse to launch up to three objects at once. Moreover, this patch will add more checkpoints to various fights, and Control Points closer to boss fights.
Additionally, the team will introduce an all-new Assist Mode. These new set of features can be enabled or disabled separately from one another within the Control Options menu. Players will be able to influence several options, including Jesse’s energy and how quickly it regenerates, how soon the Service Weapon reloads, how much damage Jesse takes, how much she deals and more.
Enjoy!
