According to a new job listing, Creative Assembly is currently working on a brand-new and exciting first person tactical shooter. This new shooter is an unannounced IP, so it will be interesting to see what the team behind Alien Isolation has in store for us.
Here is the description for this new job listing.
“Creative Assembly’s award-winning team behind Alien: Isolation are exploring new frontiers with a brand-new and exciting First Person Tactical Shooter IP.
The team are looking for a Senior UI Artist to work on a new unannounced IP. This is an ideal opportunity for an accomplished artist with outstanding graphic design sensibilities to join the team.”
The Senior UI Artist will design and prototype new UI components to specification. The UI will be iterated throughout production, from wireframing through to release content. The perfect candidate will engage with the game outside of core UI, supporting other departments when necessary and providing additional 2D graphic design work on demand.
John is the founder and Editor in Chief at DSOGaming. He is a PC gaming fan and highly supports the modding and indie communities. Before creating DSOGaming, John worked on numerous gaming websites. While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”
