According to a recent job listing, Crytek is currently working on an unannounced triple-A game. While the job listing does not provide any other details, this triple-A game could be the upcoming remake/remaster of Crysis.
Yesterday, Crytek shared an additional message on its social media. This message was actually the first line players hear in Crysis. So my guess is that this is another hint at the rumored Crysis Remake or Remaster.
Hey Nomad, you're still with us?

Let’s hope that Crytek will officially reveal this unannounced AAA game sooner rather than later. It will also be interesting to see whether this is a new project or the Crysis Remaster/Remake.
Let’s also hope that the Crysis Remaster will look better than Crysis Modded. I mean, there won’t be any reason to remaster the game on the PC if it doesn’t look better than it.
What really worries me is the island footage that Crytek included in a recent trailer. That footage featured the same blurry assets/textures that the original Crysis game had. Therefore, I’ll be really disappointed if we are talking about a new Crysis using the latest version of CRYENGINE with all the default assets.
On the other hand, Crytek had already built a new island level for its CRYENGINE 5.6 Tech Trailer. So, let’s hope that the new Crysis will have this kind of graphics.
Stay tuned for more!
