Namco Bandai and FromSoftware have revealed the minimum system requirements for the PC version of Dark Souls. Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition will require a dual-core CPU, 4GB of disk space and an Nvidia 8800GT or an ATI Radeon 4850. Seems reasonable, right? Also, the game will – naturally – support all Windows’ OS, from XP to 7.
Even though FromSoftware had stated that there won’t be any performance optimizations, we kind of expect to see some. The E3 build had some performance issues and according to various reports, the latest build of the game performs significantly better. Either FromSoftware polished the game’s code or Nvidia pulled off some magic trick with their latest drivers.
