NEXON has announced that The First Berserker: Khazan will be released on March 27th, 2025. Moreover, a free demo for it will become available on January 16th. This demo will let you try this upcoming Dark Souls/Sekiro-inspired game before purchasing it.
The First Berserker: Khazan is a hardcore action RPG based on DNF (Dungeon & Fighter) Universe. As Khazan, the great general of the Pell Los Empire who overcame death, players will unveil the incidents that led to his downfall and seek vengeance on his enemies.
Players must survive constant attacks from imperial forces, uncover and avoid plots to kill Khazan, and deal with tough environments. They can also upgrade their character’s abilities and mix different weapon and armor skills to fit their preferred playstyle. Basically, it’s a new Souls-like game. So, you pretty much know what to expect.
From what we know, The First Berserker: Khazan will support NVIDIA DLSS 3 at launch. Moreover, the devs have shared the game’s PC system requirements. So, let’s take a look at them.
PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i3-6300 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 with 12GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970, and AMD Radeon RX 580 or Arc A580. With this kind of setup, you will be able to run it at 1080p/Low with 30FPS. The devs also suggest using an SSD.
NEXON recommends using an Intel Core i7-6700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070, or AMD Radeon RX 5700XT or Arc A750. This PC setup will allow you to game at 1080p/High with 60FPS.
Finally, the game will be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. That’s a bummer but hey, it is what it is.
