Dark Stork Studios is a new video game development studio located in Poznan, Poland. The team is currently working on a new project that will be powered by Epic’s Unreal Engine 4. Although there is no ETA yet, we do know that 28 people are working on this title for the past 157 days.
As Dark Stork Studios noted:
“As the world’s most advanced game engine, Unreal Engine 4 gives us the power to do more than ever before. Unreal Engine 4 offers a deep, intuitive toolset and low-level access to code, cutting down on development time and ensuring faster iteration on creative ideas. With a completely new rendering architecture, Unreal Engine 4 enables us to achieve high-end visuals, while remaining both scalable and accessible to make games for low-end systems.”
Obviously, this new Unreal Engine 4-powered game is still in pre-alpha stage. Hell, we don’t even know its title or its targeted platforms. Still, it’s good to see more games taking advantage of this new engine.
Here is hoping that Dark Stork’s title won’t let us down – at least visually.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”
