Deep Silver has revealed the first gameplay footage of Dead Island: Riptide. Dead Island: Riptide is powered by Techland’s proprietary engine and is planned for an April 26th release on PC, X360 and PS3. According to Deep Silver’s creator producer, this is a pre-alpha footage and is said that it will not represent the final quality of the product, though we all know that it will look similar to that. And holy cow at that limited draw distance. But anyway, enjoy the video – courtesy of IGN – after the jump!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
