KOEI Tecmo did not reveal the game’s full roster but from this trailer we can see some familiar faces that will be coming back. Similarly to pretty much all other fighting games, Dead or Alive 6 will feature 3D graphics but will retain its 2D gameplay mechanics.
Now I don’t know if it’s just me but the fighting in Dead or Alive 6 feels a bit weird. It feels like the hits do not have any meaningful impact on opponents (and the hit reaction feels non-existent). It just feels like there is no weight, force or power behind the kicks and punches. Or at least that’s what I got from this latest gameplay trailer!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
