Wired Productions has just released Deliver Us The Moon on the PC. However, and while the publisher has already advertised them, the game does not support any Ray Tracing effects at launch.
According to the developers, a post-launch update will add the Ray Tracing effects soon. Unfortunately, there is no ETA as of yet, so we don’t know when gamers will be able to enjoy them.
This is the third game that has advertised its Ray Tracing effects prior to its release but has not shipped with them. The first one was Shadow of the Tomb Raider, while the second is the latest Wolfenstein game. And even though we’ve already gotten the RT effects in Shadow of the Tomb Raider, there is still no word for the RT support in Wolfenstein: Youngblood.
As the developers have already stated, ray tracing will enhance the game’s most unique environments. As such, light, shadows and reflections will behave more realistically and with greater precision.
We’ll be sure to share some 4K Ray Tracing screenshots the moment the RT update comes out!
