Now here is a pleasant surprise. When TiMi Studio Group and Team Jade announced Black Hawk Down, I assumed it would be a paid expansion for the F2P Delta Force. However, it appears that this single-player campaign will be free to everyone.
As its description reads, Black Hawk Down will be a thrilling free-to-play co-op campaign. So there you have it, straight from the publisher. This remake of the Black Hawk Down campaign will be free.
Delta Force – Black Hawk Down will be powered by Unreal Engine 5. As such, it has different PC requirements than Delta Force (which uses UE4). So, let’s see what PC you’ll need to run it.
PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i5-6500 or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X with 16GB of RAM and an Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 5G or AMD RX5500 XT or Intel Arc A580. The game will also require 28GB of free disk space.
Team Jade recommends using an Intel Core i7-8700 or AMD Ryzen 5 5500 with 16GB of RAM and an Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060 or AMD RX5700 XT or Intel Arc A770.
Sadly, the devs did not reveal the framerate, resolution and graphics settings these PC requirements target. We also don’t know whether the campaign will support UE5’s biggest features like Nanite or Lumen.
TiMi Studio Group will release Delta Force – Black Hawk Down on February 21st.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
