TiMi Studio Group and Team Jade have announced that the Open Alpha phase for Delta Force: Hawk Ops will begin on August 6th. According to the devs, the PC Alpha Test will include both of the game’s primary multi-player game modes. These are Hazard Operations and Havoc Warfare.
Hazard Operations is an extraction shooter mode. Players will begin by carefully selecting a loadout, including weaponry, armor, and health items, before being deployed in a 3-person squad to a random location on the map and tasked with locating and extracting the most valuable resources. The PC Alpha Test will initially feature two Hazard Operations maps, with a third planned to be added later in the test.
On the other hand, Havoc Warfare is a Battlefield-like mode. It will feature full-on warfare across huge maps utilizing a variety of land, sea and air vehicles. This mode is all about map dominance, as two opposing sides (32 v 32 with 4-person squads) will battle for control of strategic points on the map. The PC Alpha Test will feature two Havoc Warfare maps.
As the devs noted, over 40 weapons from the full version of Delta Force: Hawk Ops will be available to try out during the PC Alpha Test. Not only that, players will also have access to the extensive Gunsmith system. This will allow for customization of many aspects of their firearm’s handling and design.
Team Jade has also shared the minimum PC requirements for this Open Alpha test. PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i3-4150 or AMD FX-6300 with 12GB of RAM and an Nvidia Geforce GTX 960 or an AMD R9 380 or an Intel Arc A380.
