Modder ‘wilsonC’ has announced that a demo for his upcoming indie first-person shooter that is heavily inspired by the F.E.A.R. series, Trepang2, will be coming out soon. Although there isn’t any exact date yet, wilsonC claimed that the demo will be released before December 2018.
In case you weren’t aware of, Trepang2 is an indie first-person shooter that is powered by Unreal Engine 4, is inspired by the first FEAR game (gameplay-wise) and promises to pack an AI that will be better than what most modern-day shooters feature. Trepang2 promises to feature an immersive single player experience with brutal, fast paced close quarters gunfights. The game will also feature chaotic shootouts involving multiple factions, and players will be able to go invisible to flank and sneak up on enemies.
This upcoming demo for Trepang2 will be quite short (about 5 minutes long) and will have some rough edges and tons of placeholder content. Still, and as wilsonC claims, it will be an honest look at what the game plays like now.
wilsonC has also released some new videos for his indie FPS that you can find below!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
