In March 2020, we informed you about a remaster overhaul mod for Arkane’s classic action RPG, Arx Fatalis. And, we have some good and some bad news for all two Arx Fatalis fans out there. The good news is that there is a demo you can download for this mod. The bad news its final version has been delayed.
In case you didn’t know, Arx Insanity is a remaster and immersive sim mod for Arx Fatalis. This mod will pack improved gameplay, remastered and detailed HD graphics, as well as enhanced lighting. Moreover, it will have expanded lore, quests, remastered soundtrack, original music, overhauled sounds, environmental effects and thousands of total changes.

Here is what the modder had to say about the release date of the final version.
“A final release date can’t be announced yet due to the current situation, although it would be a few more months at the most, perhaps 3 or 4 months depending in how development progresses. The full game will be announced when it’s fully finished, polished and ready to drop.”
You can download the demo for Arx Insanity from here.
Have fun!
