A new rumor surfaced earlier today, supposedly revealing the PC release dates for Demon’s Souls Remake and Ghost of Tsushima. However, this rumor is fake. So, let’s see how we can debunk it.
For starters, this is the rumored image that supposedly reveals the PC dates of these two games.
For starters, Demon’s Souls copyright is owned by SIE Inc. (which is Sony’s Japanese branch), not by the US branch SIE LLC. Furthermore, there is no such copyright as “Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut”, it’s only “Ghost Of Tsushima”. You can head over to the PS Store listing and see this for yourselves.
Perhaps the biggest outlier here, though, is the release date for Demon’s Souls Remake. July 29th is Saturday so… yeah… this is as fake as it can be.
My guess is that someone saw The Snitch’s tweet and went ahead and made this image.
Lastly, don’t get us wrong. We strongly believe that both Demon’s Souls Remake and Ghost of Tsushima will come out on PC. After all, both of them were on NVIDIA’s GeForce Now leaked list. And, if I had to guess, I’d say that we’ll get either Ratchet & Clank or Ghost of Tsushima this July. However, the rumored image is as fake as it can get.
Stay tuned for more!
