Hotline Miami has just been released, and Dennaton Games has already plans for a sequel to this incredible top-down action game. Now before jumping in early conclusions, this does not mean that Dennaton Games will stop supporting its freshly released game. Jonatan Söderström, creator of Hotline Miami, has revealed the good news and stated afterwards that they’re still working on fixing Hotline Miami.
As Jonatan tweeted:
“Just want to make it clear that we’re still working on fixing Hotline Miami, we haven’t actually started working on anything new yet!”
A couple of hours earlier, Jonatan tweeted that he was listening to the sweet tunes of a preliminary Hotline Miami 2 soundtrack that they’ve put together during the weekend.
According to Eurogamer, Hotline Miami 2 might be an extended version of the first game’s planned DLC.
When asked about the DLC, Jonatan told Eurogamer:
“Yeah, it seems like it will end up bigger (in terms of the number of levels we’ve got planned) than the first, so it feels reasonable to release it as a full game rather than a DLC.”

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
