Some publications reported earlier today that Halo: Infinite has been delayed until 2022. However, that was an April’s Fools joke from a fake 343 Industries Twitter account and nothing more. Thus, Halo: Infinite is still targeting a Fall 2021 release date.
In short, Halo fans should not worry as 343 Industries does not currently plan to delay the game.
Halo Infinite continues the story of the Master Chief as the third chapter of the Reclaimer Saga. According to the team, this is a direct sequel to Halo 5: Guardian, and will give players more freedom than ever before to explore a sprawling Halo ring.
As Microsoft has already announced, its multiplayer mode will be free to play. It’s also worth noting that Sperasoft is helping with the game’s development.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
