A few days ago, Bungie released a new patch for Destiny 2 that, among other things, addressed the game’s memory leaks. However, that patch introduced some stuttering issues on the PC. Thankfully, the team released today a new hotfix on the PC that addresses these issues.
The Blizzard app will auto-download this hotfix the next time you launch it. According to the release notes, this is the only issue/bug that it resolves. As such, don’t expect any other improvements than that.
Here is the huge changelog of this latest hotfix for Destiny 2 PC:
- Fixed an issue, introduced with 1.0.6.1 patch, causing periodic hitches during gameplay for some players
So, kudos to Bungie for fixing this issue in a matter of days. After all, this bug annoyed a lot of PC players.
But anyway, enjoy now a smooth gaming experience and here is hoping that Bungie and Vicarious Visions will continue improving the experience on the PC!
