Activision and Bungie have announced that Iron Banner, Destiny 2’s PvP event, will come to the PC next week. The first Iron Banner PC event will begin on November 21st and will last until November 28th.
Iron Banner is a monthly PvP event and this month’s event will feature rounds of standard team deathmatch matches. By completing matches in Iron Banner, players earn a unique currency – Iron Banner Tokens – which must be cashed in before the event ends. In other words, this is grinding PvP fest. By completing the Season 1 Milestone of 10 Faction Packages rewarded, players will get an Emblem.
It’s worth noting that Bungie will rework its Iron Banner rewards for Season 2. This will be done so that the rewards can be more similar to the ones of the first Destiny game. Because right now, the rewards rely exclusively on the slot machine luck of the game’s token reward system. Which obviously sucks.
But anyway, this will be the first Iron Banner event for Destiny 2 PC. As such, we are pretty sure that all of its PC players will be looking forward to it.
