Back in August 2011, we informed you about Class3, a zombie game that will be powered by Crytek’s CryEngine 3. Although the game was supposed to be released exclusively on X360, Undead Labs decided to jump on the PC bandwagon and announced that a PC version will be released shortly after the X360 version. What’s really interesting here is that Microsoft is fully supporting the PC release of Class3. According to the development team, Microsoft was ‘into the idea as well, and offered us their full support‘.
It’s also interesting that this whole porting thing seems quite ‘easy’. As the company stated:
“Making a PC version available just turns out to be simple enough to make it worthwhile.”
Question is, will there be any graphical options to adjust and will Class3 play well on the PC? Now that’s the million dollar question.
In other news, THQ and Valhalla Game Studios confirmed that Devil’s Third will hit the PC platform in 2013. Devil’s Third is a fast paced action game set in the near future in the wake of a global catastrophe from Tomonobu Itagaki, producer of Ninja Gaiden and Dead Or Alive.

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
