Blizzard has just announced that the Open Beta weekend for Diablo 2 Resurrected will begin on August 20th. During this weekend, all gamers will be able to download and play the game’s beta build.
In Diablo 2 Resurrected Beta, players will face the minions of Hell as one of five playable classes in the Beta. Each class will be highly customizable with countless build and gear options for players to explore. Additionally, Act I: The Sightless Eye and Act II: The Secret of the Vizjerei will be fully playable. Not only that, but the fully remade Act I & II cinematics will also be viewable in this test.
Blizzard also announced that an Early Access phase for this Open Beta testing will begin on August 13th. Access to this Early Access will have those that will pre-order the game.
Diablo 2 Resurrected takes the 2D sprite-based classic and brings it into the present with full 3D physically-based rendering, dynamic lighting, revamped animations and spell effects—all stunningly delivered in up to 4K resolution. Additionally, the game will have enhanced cinematics. Not only that but its memorable soundtrack has also been reinvigorated to support Dolby 7.1 surround sound.
Diablo II Resurrected will release on September 23rd!
