Yesterday, we informed you about a giveaway for a Disgaea 5 PC demo. However, and in just a matter of hours, NIS America revoked most of those demo keys. And today, NIS America announced that the game has been delayed until Summer 2018.
According to the publisher, the development team came across a new issue that requires additional attention that will take more time to resolve. As such, the team will miss its May 21st release and now targets for a Summer 2018 release date.
“While working on corrections last night, we came across a new issue that requires additional attention that will take more time to resolve. Unfortunately, until this issue can be resolved, the release date will be postponed, and we are now targeting a release for Summer 2018. We offer our sincerest apologies to all who have been looking forward to this release of the game.”
NIS America claims that it will open a new demo that will require the use of new keys once the game is ready for launch!
