Arkane Studios has just released a new beta patch for the PC version of Dishonored 2. This patch adds custom difficulties, adds an option via which players can select/restart a mission, and fixes numerous bugs that have been reported by the game’s fanbase.
In addition, this patch fixes various crashes, save issues, localization issues, rendering issues, audio issues and collision issues.
While this patch does not come with any performance improvements for the PC, it does come with some PC-specific fixes. As such, this patch fixes a bug where Switching off the V-Sync for the second time set the FPS Limiter to 30 instead of 60 by default, a bug where turning off TXAA Anti-aliasing does not visually disable TXAA Sharpness slider, as well as other PC-specific issues.
Here is how you can access this beta patch:
- Log into Steam.
- Right Click on Dishonored 2 in your Library.
- Select Properties.
- Select Betas.
- A drop down menu will appear. Select BetaPatch.
- Select OK.
- Wait a few minutes for game to update.
- When done, Dishonored 2 [BetaPatch] should appear in our Library.
