Grey Box, Six Foot, and YAGER announced today that sign-ups for the upcoming PC closed beta of Dreadnought, their team-based space-action game, have begun. In addition, Dreadnought will be playable to the European public for the very first time at gamescom this week.
Attendees can experience the game’s 5v5 Team Deathmatch mode across two maps and chat with members of YAGER’s development crew on the show floor at Stand C020 in Hall 8.1.
Set in a futuristic era of galactic strife, Dreadnought puts players in command of massive capital ships for all-out tactical action warfare in space and across the skies of distant worlds.
Battleships come in a variety of shapes and sizes, each specialized to bring a unique, class-based role to the squad. These vessels can be customized even further with powerful armaments, abilities, perks, and a large variety of visual enhancements.
The free-to-play game will feature competitive and cooperative online multiplayer modes, as well as a single-player campaign.
Dreadnought is powered by Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 4 technology and is expected to officially launch on PC in 2016.
Enjoy!
