Gaslamp Games revealed that an expansion is in the works for their successful indie game, Dungeons of Dredmor. According to the developers themselves, the expansion is planned to be released before the end of the year and will feature more skills, more monsters, more levels, more items (crafting skills, weapon types) and more recipes. Oh, and it will be a paid expansion – no free stuff for you guys.
Well, that was to be expected to be honest but while you’ll have to pay for this expansion, the mod tools that will be released in the next month will be free. Oh yeah, you heard that right. Modding is coming to Dungeons of Dredmor. The mod patch will also include Gaslamp’s fantastic red haired heroine.
In case you were unaware of, Dungeons of Dredmor is a graphical roguelike game created by Gaslamp Games. The game is a single-player RPG in which players traverse procedurally-generated dungeons, while killing monsters and collecting items to improve their character.
The game is available via Steam and Desura.
