Independent studio Hitbox Team is excited to release a brand new gameplay video for their upcoming acrobatic platformer Dustforce, set to be released in early 2012 for PC (windows) and Mac. In Dustforce, players swiftly sweep through precarious environments in style. Dustforce originally won indiePub’s Independent Developer Competition along with a $100,000 grand prize. The up and coming game has since been completely rebuilt from scratch.
Hitbox Team’s Woodley Nye said:
“In this video, we’ve showcased some of the fast, stylish combat that players can weave into their platforming. We wanted to show that the game isn’t just a difficult platformer – we’ve also worked hard to make a deep, fun and impactful attack system that goes hand in hand with running and jumping.”
Dustforce will be available in early 2012 for PC (Windows) and Mac.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
