D3Publisher has announced that EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 6 has been delayed for PC until Summer 2024 for Western audiences. According the publisher, this delay will give SANDLOT more time in order to further polish it.
Earth Defense Force 6 picks up three years after the events of its predecessor in the year 2027. The survivors continue their efforts to rebuild against the Primers, but threats to the world’s safety remain. The Earth Defense Force (EDF) is once again called upon to protect the planet from the aggressive extraterrestrial invaders.
Key features include an all-new storyline, the return of Ranger, Air Raider, Wing Diver, and Fencer classes, alongside an enormous amount of new content, including hundreds of additional missions and weapons. Players will also be able to fight through Earth Defense Force 6 as a two-player co-op experience with split-screen or online co-op with up to four players.
Interestingly enough, D3Publisher has not shared yet the game’s PC requirements. Right now, the Steam store page does not also list Denuvo. From what I know, the previous EDF games did not use it. So, we can assume that EDF 6 won’t also have it.
Anyway, there is nothing more to share right now. D3Publisher hasn’t shared any new screenshots or trailer. Thus, I’ve included below the game’s announcement trailer.
Stay tuned for more!
