Rabbit & Bear Studios has announced that it will launch a Kickstarter campaign on July 27th for a spiritual successor to SUIKODEN, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. Now while SUIKODEN never came out on the PC, it was a big deal on the first Playstation console.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will be a JRPG and will feature turn-based battles. Players will be able to recruit over 100 heroes. Moreover, the game will come with a fortress-building and guild system.
In order to showcase the game’s art style, Rabbit & Bear Studios released the following teaser trailer. This will give you a slight idea of what you can expect from this new JRPG.
The team aims to raise $500K and its primary platform will be the PC. Naturally, there will be stretch goals in order to bring this JRPG to all major consoles.
Enjoy the following teaser trailer and stay tuned for more!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
