Boss Team Games has announced that Evil Dead: The Game has been delayed until February 2022. According to the company, this delay will give the dev team enough time to further polish it so it can provide the best Evil Dead experience.
Furthermore, this additional time will allow them to implement a single-player option. This SP mode will let players enjoy the game when they are without their co-op compadres.
Evil Dead The Game is a PVP multiplayer game. In it, players will step into the shoes of Ash Williams or his friends from the iconic Evil Dead franchise.
As its description reads:
“Play as a team of four survivors, exploring, looting, managing your fear, and finding key items to seal the breach between worlds in a game inspired by all three original Evil Dead films as well as the Starz original Ash vs Evil Dead television series.
Fight for the forces of good or take control of the powerful Kandarian Demon to hunt Ash and other players while possessing Deadites, the environment, and even the survivors themselves as you seek to swallow their souls!”
