GameInformer has revealed its February cover. The game that has been featured is Turtle Rock Studios’ latest MP title, Evolve. Evolve is said to be a sci-fi MP title that pits a four-player crew of alien hunters against a separate player-controlled monster that grows larger and more powerful over the course of matches.
As GameInformer writes:
“Each hunter features its own unique items and abilities, and while the monster may be outnumbered, its size and an assortment of devastating attacks make it a more than formidable foe. Like Turtle Rock’s previous titles, Evolve is being built with variety and replayabilty in mind; the result is a novel mix of cooperative and competitive multiplayer elements that’s unlike anything we’ve played before.”
Evolve will be powered by Crytek’s proprietary engine, CRYENGINE. This was revealed by both the official FB and Twitter accounts of CRYENGINE that welcomed Turtle Rock Studios’ upcoming title. We’ve heard rumors and reports about Turtle Rock Studios licensing CryEngine 3 for its next title, but this is the first official statement about it.
Evolve will be coming to PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 this Fall!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
